J'ai vraiment adoré mon séjour ici, bon dîner, bon petit-déjeuner.
Ca a des vibes de chalet, il y a un poêle à bois pour nous réchauffer à l'arrivée, pendant la nuit et cela aide à sécher le linge qui sèche ! Je souhaite trouver un excellent hébergement comme celui-ci et vous souhaite à tous un buen camino <3

À l'Escargot dans da coquille. En allant vers la ville, au coin à gauche de la charcuterie. Je suis arrivé sans réservation après une très longue marche depuis Le Puy où rien n'était ouvert jusqu'ici. Ils avaient une excellente nourriture et un lit chaud et confortable. Catherine et Philippe étaient très accueillants… le petit-déjeuner était copieux pour une autre longue marche..

As I look back on my photos, I have to give Phillipe and Caroline the award for best gite meal of my 3-week Camino! This is an excellent gite, clean and well organized. Clean pilgrims’ kitchen, but don’t cook - by all means dine with these wonderful chefs. Thank you!

Philippe and Catherine are friendly and pilgrims. Great advice and stories about the chemin.
Food is outstanding made with local products. Bedrooms are clean, and so are the bathrooms and showers. Thoroughly recommend this gem.

Stopped off for a coffee here mid morning and discovered marvellous shop with fruit, pastries, sandwiches, drinks etc. A much welcome resupply

C’est un couple qui gère l’accueil. Le mari est exécrable, prend ses clients pour des imbeciles, a un humour qui ne fait rire que lui, est incapable de sourire. On se demande ce qu’il fait là, il n’a pas sa place ici. Je plains sa femme qui doit le supporter toute la journée. Heureusement qu’elle donne le change.

Payé 20€/pers la chambre, 15€ dîner, 6€ petit déjeuner, 5€ les draps. Pas très luxueux et dîner pas gras gastronomique du tout (potage cresson, saucisse et riz, petit muffin) mais les patrons sont gentils et commerçants

I showed up to L'espace gite and was horrified. It's a construction zone with unfinished rooms and tools lying everywhere. The mattress wasnt wrapped. Above all there were no doors installed anywhere, not the WC or the shower or the bedroom itself. As a single woman i was extremely uncomfortable and the owner seemed very pushy. He asked what i wanted for dinner, an omelet? For 15 euros, no. He said i had to buy dinner or I couldn't stay. He yelled at me when I moved to get water from the sink in the cluttered kitchen and said he could lose his license if the inspectors saw me in there...

i was panicking but thankfully called another gite down the road L'estou which had tons of beds available and were hosting my friend. They were wonderful.
