It was like an upscale boutique hotel crossed with an albergue. Clean stylish and sophisticated. Great family style meal in a converted 100 year old out building. An excellent camino experience and the best place I have stayed.

This family business is simply beautiful to say the least!! From the moment you enter, you are welcomed and then blown away by the superb accommodation, design is delightful and a credit to them. One mustn’t miss it. Thank you to the family for offering such a wonderful stay. Much loved , Rosalind from Australia

We managed to get a spot here in early Sept . I don’t want to tell you how great this 3 (or 4?) generations of family works to make your stay remarkable and memorable, because then everyone would know this secret!). Wow!

The last km is worth it. This is so far the best Albergue we have visited.

Camino de Sant…

Best Albergue on the camino! Home cooked food, vegetarian friendly, very friendly and helpful hosts, but most importantly the place has ATMOSPHERE. The dorm is the swankiest place I’ve ever stayed, they have a luxurious kitchen, rain showers with lovely pressure. The bar is cozy with heat lamps and a rustic feel. It’s all an old barn but tidied up really well. Walk the extra 5km from Castroverde. It’s worth it!

Camino de Sant…

I have never been to such a wonderful Albergue.
People with such wonderful big hearts.
