C'est votre chemin si vous commencez à remettre en question l'expérience du Camino, peut-être vous sentez submergé par tant de gens et commencez à penser que vous êtes sur un circuit organisé…

J'ai dû croiser seulement 3 autres personnes tout au long du chemin et j'ai pu vivre certaines des vues les plus magnifiques. C'a été une expérience profonde et magnifique pour moi et j'espère que vous aurez la même expérience.

Je suis tellement heureuse d'avoir choisi cet itinéraire alternatif! J'ai adoré tout: Le sentier forestier était non seulement féerique mais aussi agréablement ombragé par une journée chaude. Arrivée juste à temps pour la messe du dimanche. La piscine municipale était si agréable et pas bondée. Et Casa Tiago est vraiment un joyau! Une belle vieille maison avec beaucoup d'art et de détails réfléchis. Comme les serviettes à main, les étagères
spécialement conçues pour les sacs à dos, le vrai café et du beurre au petit-déjeuner et même de petits protecteurs aux coins des étagères au cas où vous les heurtiez. Tout est fait avec tant de considération! Je reviendrais définitivement ici.

La ville est belle, la piscine semblait attrayante jusqu'à ce que j'arrive et que je voie qu'elle était encore très verte. Je crois que la piscine pourrait ouvrir en juin.

J'ai également pris accidentellement la route alternative et c'était magnifique! Les vues étaient à nouveau spectaculaires. La promenade en forêt et puis certains des sentiers tranquilles étaient aussi très intéressants. J'ai en fait passé plus d'une heure sans voir personne ni avant ni après moi sur cette marche jusqu'à ce que les deux sentiers se rejoignent à environ 10 km d'Estella. Ça en valait vraiment la peine.

J'ai lu les autres avis disant que c'est une bonne route à suivre et la marche a dépassé mes attentes. Malheureusement, la piscine est toujours fermée en ce moment (restaurant ouvert à partir de 18h). Je me suis enregistré à l'auberge et c'est rustique et confortable jusqu'à présent

First, the Alternate Camino to here is GORGEOUS! Likely my favorite day of hiking in 15 so far. Tiago is a great host - since the only restaurant in town was closed the day we were there, he offered dinner to everyone staying for 10€ and it was delicious and contained veggies YAY, meat, and fruits YAY. Also breakfast was a wide variety and filling. Definitely recommend.

This town has a pool 300 metres from the Albergue. Had food and drinks there with other pilgrims. Went swimming also. The host at the Albergue was friendly and helpful. We paid 30€ for a single room but it had a double bed and was perfect. Excellent value

THE RESIDENTS HAVE NO RESPECT FOR PILGRIMS!!!

At 1am we lost our shit, the local children run screaming through the streets all night!!!
We had asked 4 or 5 times and the parents sat there and then confronted us saying you are here for 1 day we do not care about you Pilgrims. This is our town and we do what we want! You are not welcome here!
A mother aggressively shouting at me and my wife as we were trying to sleep and her husband/ a local man getting aggressive with us!

The food at the bar (only place in town) was awful.

The town is run down in many places, the churches never open, vacant buildings everywhere and rude residents beyond belief.

We loved our stay here, from the well stocked kitchen, to the free washing machine with plenty of hanging space and clips for clothes, to the comfy living room with TV and blanket, to our comfy beds with nice sheets and blankets, to space to set and hang our packs and bags.
Breakfast was great, too! Everything we needed for a great price!

Amazing host and really cozy vibes.

Host deserves much more than he thinks he does, he is really nice, speaks decent English and seems like he doesn’t get mad easily. He explained everything perfectly and came out of his way to open a closed door(11.00) and explain when do they open (12.00) and where can I get something to eat and drink. It was also no problem for him to let me leave my backpack there until then.

10/10 would recommend :)
