The Road

Can not recommend this Restaurant high enough. Amazing food , had bologna to die for . And the cheese and nut salad was also perfect. It is so reasonable in price and the owners are very kind people.

Other tours are 4:45 or later on Sunday I think (€5 for pilgrim)

There is a small quirky hostal at Sivil which serves fantastic home made food at a very reasonable price

The app shows the distance from triascatela to Samos as 3 kilometers. This is not accurate, the distance is a bit over 10 kilometers

The bar Albaroque had incredible prices and the BEST food I’ve had on the Camino, by far. The owners are really lovely, and seriously the food send me to heaven. Please stop by, you will not regret it! I took a rest day in Samos and ate there 4 times. Every single thing I had was remarkable!

Although this app shows a second red option, DO NOT TAKE THE 641/633 to Alàn! The shoulder is narrow, the cars are fast, and the ditch is steep. IT'S DANGEROUS. We eventually called a taxi to bring us to Sarria.

Bottom line: follow the Camino and the arrows to Perros!!

I can’t believe that this place hasn’t got a mention so far. The food was superb! We liked it so much we returned for dinner. Although not a cheap option, the freshly prepared and local food was a welcome break from the regular pilgrim menus.

The albergue at the monastery is nice but it is like other municipal albergues. You enter from the street and do not have access to the monastery from the albergue.

You can see the monastery for 5 euros by guided tours offered on a schedule. For 60 euros you can stay in a room inside the monastery.

Camino de Sant…

There’s a great albergue 10$ single beds super clean and delicious food . Two ladies from Brazil bought the place and called it tras. Del convento which means next to the convent super great hosts and I can’t say enough about their fresh savory food
