The Road

I wish I’d had time to stay longer for a meal as it smelled like wonderful winter fare. A nice cold beer was a welcome relief as the first place open since Sarria (except for a few vending machines along the way). Very friendly people.

The 100km marker has been replaced with new.

Camino de Sant…

The hostess informed us that it’s closed on Tuesdays. So make sure you’ve packed your lunch.

Camino de Sant…

The homemade yogurt with marmalade is amazing, as is the family feel, prices, and hospitality and this family run establishment. Portions are GENEROUS (try beef with potatoes after a long day).

Camino de Sant…

If you are hiking from Sarria to Portomarin, stopping here for lunch is perfect (and seemingly the only opportunity in January). The local tavern is run by a family. Very nice experience
