Très beau séjour dans les dortoirs de cet Albergue. J'ai eu le dîner et le petit-déjeuner et j'ai apprécié la nourriture et le temps passé à rencontrer d'autres pèlerins. Les lits sont confortables et propres, et comme il n'y avait pas beaucoup de gens dans les dortoirs (ils ont aussi des chambres privées), ils nous ont bien espacés, de sorte que nous avions beaucoup d'espace et d'intimité, ce qui était un beau geste. Je recommande avec plaisir cet Albergue.

Petit arrêt formidable pour la ceveza con limon. Des tapas aussi, personnel serviable. Jolie terrasse face à l'église avec des cigognes en train de nicher

C'est après le long tronçon en provenance de Vilar de Mazariffe. Un jeune homme très impoli, indifférent et méprisant nous a servis. Il semblait mal aimer les pèlerins occidentaux. Il a levé les yeux au ciel face à mon espagnol, prétendant ne pas comprendre.

J'ai simplement pris un desayuno
Portion MINUSCULE de toast fin et rassis
Surprix
À éviter.

J'ai essayé de faire une réservation pour juin mais je n'ai jamais eu de réponse. J'ai finalement les contactés et on m'a dit que la date souhaitée était un lundi et qu'ils sont fermés ce jour-là pour se reposer.

Would not recommend. Cold, indifferent reception, and during the entire stay. Private rooms are tiny- just 2 single beds, no hooks anywhere in the Albergue to hang up wet jackets, trousers, etc. No common area to sit except outside. (In the rain). Dining room fireplace on all day so it was uncomfortably warm during dinner. Should have gone to Tio Pepe where pilgrim friends said they had a good stay.

The lady charged me €5.95 for a peach, two yogurts and a snack bag of cashews. Feel like I’ve been cheated.

Be aware it's a long straight road from Villar de Mazarife to Villavante, about 10km. No services, no water, no shelter. Bear in mind that Villavante is small, and there's not much there so the next place is O Hospital (plenty of options there for food and accommodation) which is maybe 4km further..

Very welcoming staff. Nice clean rooms and bathroom. Local bar/restaurant used by pilgrims and locals. Great garden/back yard area for relaxing. Food surprisingly good and not just standard salat/chicken/ice-cream menu like any other albergue.

I’m staying in a private room at Tio Pepe and it’s a really nice place. My room is very comfortable, there is a lovely courtyard which is popular with pilgrims and locals, and the staff are very hard working and attentive. There are vegan and vegetarian options too. Plus the drinks are very reasonable. Definitely one of the better places I have stayed on the Camino

ABSOLUTELY LOVED MY TIME HERE!! Hosts were amazing and super friendly. The communal dinner was phenomenal as well. Cute small little place and very clean!
