Ville quelque peu endormie, elle est bien entretenue et constitue un endroit approprié pour le petit-déjeuner si tu pars de Nájera le matin. L'albergue municipal ici est bien aménagé, et toutes les chambres sont des chambres doubles.

The Road

Le camino entre Azofra et Cirueña passe par le Rioja Alta Golf Club où les pèlerins sont servis aux côtés des golfeurs. Il ne passe plus par Cirueña mais passe juste à côté. Ciriñuela a cependant été séparée du camino par un grand complexe résidentiel (il y a toujours un bar qui sert les locaux, et le propriétaire peut vous indiquer le chemin du camino sans que vous ayez à revenir sur vos pas).

Si vous allez sur booking.com, il peut dire qu'il n'y a pas de chambres à Azofra, mais si vous allez sur leur propre site, vous trouvez ce que vous cherchez. Mieux vaut écrire sur WhatsApp. Excellent endroit!

J'ai partagé une chambre avec un nouveau pèlerin nommé Bud à la plaza et c'était vraiment très agréable. La douche est toute neuve. Il me semble. Les lits étaient confortables. J'avais une grande fenêtre qui donnait sur la cathédrale.

Nous avons mangé trois repas différents au bar Seville et tous étaient bons. Le propriétaire et son fils sont super sympathiques et patients avec nous malgré nos limitations en espagnol

J'ai adoré ce lieu. C'était propre. Ils avaient un beau canapé en bas et un petit réfrigérateur. C'était juste à côté du Camino. Code pour ouvrir la porte.

J'ai séjourné à La Plaza, qui n'a pas de cuisine. Il y a cependant une bouilloire dans un placard en bas. Le Bar Seville n'est pas ouvert avant avril. Il y a un petit magasin d'alimentation qui vend des repas instantanés et quelques fruits et légumes frais, ainsi que du jambon emballé, du fromage et du yaourt parmi de nombreux autres articles d'épicerie non périssables.

Very pleasant town. Stayed at Pension La Plaza, a newly renovated place just up from the town square. Very nice room and balcony with private bath. Check in is at the bar in the square. Also a great pilgrims meal if so desired or may order paella. It was pleasant sitting out with the locals and on the deck. Great place to unwind after a day of walking

Booked last available a few days ahead which is the dreaded 3 bed room = expensive. However, really awesome and smooth check in electronically that this pilgrim appreciated. Keyless entries are the best, I think. EXTREMELY clean with massive terrace and fantastic view. Fabulous shower and overall best 3 bed room so far, and there’s been more than a few. Oh, I appreciate the communication from the owner/operator via WhatsApp too.

One of the best albergues municipal I have stayed in. They have double rooms, washing laundry for 3 euros and a pool for your feet. The showers were unfortunately so hot that I couldn’t wash my hair. But great place!

I had to take the bus from logrono in order to get past the two previous cities which are sold out due to a three day weekend and a large festival. The bus was easy and cheap… only three euros and came within 1 mile of the Alberge Municipal. Not sure why the previous poster said there is no bus service, because it was an easy commute.

Municipal albergue was very nice with foot pool and all double rooms. Grocery store was very dingey, would not buy produce or refrigerated items.
