Petite ville avec un peu plus qu'une église, une ermita, et un restaurant routier qui a la réputation de servir un chocolat chaud décent. Le seul albergue de la ville est aussi la première maison où l'on arrive, et les hospitaleros sont merveilleux.

History

La ville tire son nom du natif de Francisco Delgado López, avant cela elle était connue sous le nom de Villa de Pun. Francisco a été évêque à la fois de Jaén et de Lugo et a été l'un des théologiens de la Contre-Réforme les plus respectés au Concile de Trente.

Generous and delicious menú del día for 15 €. It’s 100 meters off the Camino across the highway. It was full of people (truckers, pilgrims, and locals) and yet the service was quick and smiling.

Absolutely recommendble: very friendly couple, super clean and nicely decorated, great food, excellent price/value. One of the best places I stayed on the Camino.

Andres and Isabel make you feel at home right away! Their home and garden make you want to stay longer! Dinner was delicious and filling! We rate this place “excelente!”

This albergue is restored very nicely and run by the nicest couple. Great food also! Well worth a few more kilometers past Santo Domingo.

I am sitting in the tranquil garden of this lovely albergue. It is a real treat after a hot dusty day walking. A warm welcome, clean and spacious.
