The Road

This is my favorite place on the Camino so far for all the reasons mentioned.

You must stay here! Best albergue atmosphere yet on the Camino. Estrella is simply wonderful. She is a pilgrim too and understands what we need. Amazing space & communal dinner 👍👍

Please add Albergue INpulso Atapuerca to this app. It is a fabulous place to stay. The owner is a pilgrim and has thought of everything in renovating this former restaurant/hotel. It is clean, organized, has a lovely ambience and Estrella, the owner, is very welcoming.

We stayed at the Hotel Rural Papasal while on the Camino Santiago. We had reserved with Maria (the wife of the husband/wife team owners) via a few WhatsApp texts and a WhatsApp phone call from the states months before. All was completely set for our stay and they couldn’t have been more accommodating and kind. The hotel is a lovely old pension they purchased in 2021. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, and shower hot. We had the Menu of the Day that was delicious as well as the breakfast. We totally recommend staying here.

At the end of town, Meson Las Cuevas has an excellent pilgrim menu with great 1st and second choices for 13 euro weekdays.
Good atmosphere and great service. Worth the short walk.

The close restaurant, Comosapians, with the great reviews is closed.

Town shop was open in the morning and evening (not during siesta time). On the main road, on a corner. Not amazing but you can pick up some basics.

Although I didn’t stay here, I enjoyed an excellent pilgrims menu. Decent food and lovely staff.

Camino de Sant…

We stayed the night, had lunch and dinner. The owners are welcoming, the food delicious! The room was comfortable. We enjoyed our stay.

Camino de Sant…

We stayed the night and had dinner at the Hotel Papasol. It’s under new ownership since 2020. The husband and wife are extremely friendly and helpful. The accommodations were clean and comfortable and the home cooked dinner was delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed the one night stay there.

Camino de Sant…

The restaurant Comosapiens was one of the best meals I have had so far on the entire Camino. Cozy atmosphere with a fireplace great music and amazing meal!
