Une ville agréable mais petite avec un mélange excentrique d'albergues. Il y a un certain nombre de restaurants en ville qui proposent des repas tout au long de la journée.

The Road

Juste à l'extérieur de la ville, sur votre gauche et probablement masqué par de hautes herbes, se trouve l'une des plus petites prouesses d'ingénierie de San Juan de Ortega. Il suffit d'une travée pour traverser le diminutif río Vena.

The food was a true culinary delight. Everything is fresh and the flavors are incredible. The Angel crying on your tongue is not an exaggeration. The couple that run it are amazing and the place is the perfect ambiance. I will propose to my next wife over a Rustica Burger and glass of wine from Rioja.

Seconding the other post about this gem of a restaurant. Delicious homemade food. Had a wonderful homemade dinner. Breakfast available at 7ish for pilgrims. Lovely people.

Second the recommendation for el alquimista. Had the chicken. It was excellent. The lady was very nice and funny, even with my spotty spanish

Highly recommend eating at bar alquimista. The food was all home made and delicious. Pilgrim menu €11. And the lady who does the cooking is such a character!
