Stopped for a quick beverage. Grateful again to have the option after the continuous up and down of the coastal route.

I didn’t make a reservation today because of the rain and wasn’t sure how far I would want to go with wet feet. I tried just being a walk-up at the Albergue in Novellana but they were already booked up with reservations. I came here and got a private room/bathroom for only 20€ to include breakfast and dinner was only 12€. The people running the place really do a great job and work hard to make your stay here enjoyable. You check in at the restaurant and then they walk you across the street to your room. I saw a sign at the Pension that advertised a 45 minute massage for 35€ although I don’t know who you ask and personally didn’t bother because I felt like I would be too relaxed to walk tomorrow. It’s a little steep to get to the beach but for me was worth the view. A friend stopped at Playa De Silencio before here and from the photos we shared the views looked like they were on opposite ends of each other.

June, 2022: one person for private room is 20€. Dinner is simple but best on this Camino for 10€. Service is very good.

Camino de Sant…

Recommended by Pepe in Soto de Luiña I decided to stop here. There is a special pilgrim price of 15 euro per bed in a separate room (breakfast included)with shared bathroom and the pilgrim menu is 9 euro gives you a good meal. The owner and his wife are a very nice couple that do everything to make their guests happy.

Camino de Sant…

If you are staying in Pension here or have a bit of extra time, the beach is not to be missed. It is not really for swimming but the coastal views are spectacular. One of the best on the Norte. Pension is highly recommended too. You can’t go wrong with a semi-private room (2 beds only) for €15 per person. The €9 dinner was one the best one I had on a Camino for that price. Lots of food and wine and the home made cheesecake is very good for dessert.
