All Caminos App User (non vérifié)

This has mixed reviews good and bad but the reality is it really isn't very good. No toilet paper in men's and ladies, Aircon not working, rusty shower fittings and creaking beds. Look, I've stayed in many many Albergues on all the Caminos and I'm not fussy but this is poor. The landlady is miserable, the kitchen dirty and unusable and the patio area is small and useless and the whole place feels like the owners just can't be bothered. I believe they have a restaurant on the main street as well. The actual town is uninspiring and if you can avoid this place then push on to Melida.

I arrived at the albergue about 2:30, and the owner promptly took my passport and credencial, as well as my money, and then showed me the bathroom that was filled with dirty laundry—about 7 bags. When I discovered that I needed medical attention and informed him that I would be leaving, he simply refilled the sheets that I had been lying on for about 45 minutes.

Camino de Sant…

In the reality in this albergue there is no terrace or patio, there is no lounge too, the kitchen is just like a small closet with nothing except a microwave and 2 electric plates. Only one personne can stay in the kitchen . but there is a dinning room with a fridge. If you need cooler or heater in the dormitory you had to pay 5€ more but it is not possible to have access to the remote control. the price is 12€ for a bed with nothing included and it is not a good value . not necessary to pay in advance for the diner or the breakfast it is the same price .

Camino de Sant…

Not the best albergue.

Camino de Sant…

As a pilgrim i am grateful for what accommodation I find, but Rojo Plata is my exception. This is a poorly run albergue where money seems to be the only motif for the owner. From charging 5€ to turn on the air conditioning for an overcrowded dormitory, lack of toilet paper, overflowing rubbish bins, there is no effort made at all. Also a pressure sell to ‘buy’ the meal deal to eat in the owners restaurant should be avoided, there is a better cheaper restaurant 100m up the road. It’s the first time I felt just a money producer for the albergue owner on this camino

Camino de Sant…

This Albergue is not so nice. Very warm in the rooms. Not so friendly and service minded hosts.
It seems that they just Do it for money and nothing more. Would not stay there again, i am not picky, but even a pilgrim has a lowest standard request.

Camino de Sant…

This albergue has lots of bad reviews. In reality it is absolutely fine and there is no other real option on this part of the camino, as you pretty much have to stay in this village. The beds were comfy, shower hot, place to wash and dry clothes and small kitchen. Bars in village do food.
