The staff was very friendly. We had a spacious room and enjoyed the shower.

There are a lot of animals to be seen. It was a very Nice place!

We have been given a friendly and helpful welcome and have really enjoyed the accommodation. A meal was delivered from their cafe in the village. It’s off the beaten track by 800m which is fine as long as you’re expecting it.

This place is pretty incredible, they don’t make it clear but there is an entire farm onsite with ostriches, goats and peacocks!! I wished I could have arrived earlier to enjoy it more. The grounds are expansive and there’s a lot to explore and enjoy. The buildings are stunning, cosy and homely and beautifully decorated with antiques.

However, I arrived to an unfriendly welcome in which I was made to sit and wait while the staff chatted to each other and talked to me as if I was an annoyance in their way. This hit hard after an incredibly long hard walk and being alone also. Friendliness would have done so much for me at this point.

Weirdly I was the sole pilgrim in a dorm for 30-40 people which was great for sleep but a bit lonely.

You have to order food from offsite. The food is good though. They serve a few drinks onsite too. “Bar” is a strong word.

Would cautiously recommend. Expensive for the degree of unfriendliness and feeling of isolation. If you love animals though then defo worth it.

Way too far off the Camino path, more set up for school groups than pilgrims after a day of walking. Arrived to find a group of children on site. Reception was like walking into someone’s home as we were made to wait for checkin while someone was cooking, we were then told there was no food available on site. After paying we were made to wait around 10 minutes before we were shown to our drag room. We are not fussy people but this facility lacked the basics in hospitality for pilgrims. Very disappointing!
