Wasn't the best experience. Shower was cold, bathroom door couldn't be closed, water from the bathroom sinked the bathroom floor. Toiled didn't flush. Quite dirty feeling overall but maybe it was just one of these days.

Candido was an oasis. Sunny lawn, quiet time, hammocks under tall tree canopy… such a blessing to have a well-stocked kitchen, particularly after the Muncipal albergue in Lugo. Friendly service, kind, courteous and cheerful.

I’d recommend making a stop here.

Check in was fine. We communicated w the host that we would be late. It was no problem - they left a note with the key on the front desk. They came around later and we paid. Incredibly friendly.
There's hammocks to lounge in, as well as tables and chairs around the garden.
The private room has its own shower and toilet, and though small, it's clean and great value for 38 euro. There's plenty of space on washing lines and a tub to wash in.

Checked in ok. Limited information about dinner. Meals on plates in fridge with glad wrap covering them. 7pm, no one around. Decided to take a short walk back to Taberna San Roman and had a great bacon, tomato, and cheese bocadillo and coffee for dinner.

A really great experience. The friendliest and most generous host. The private en suite was fantastic value for money. A delicious three course meal and local wine for 9 euros snd breakfast included self service. Defintely a great Camino experience

Camino de Sant…

Amazing find! The host was so welcoming and took great care of everyone. Meals were included and delicious. We were 5 the night I stayed and the host divided everyone up so we each had our own room - luxury for 10€. It is a cute, tranquil place off the beat and path (800m) and recommended. Best WiFi connection all Primitivo!

Camino de Sant…

Ok place. One room for 10 people and all other beds are in private rooms. A bit cramped and few electrical outlets. Breakfast was included and was self serve. Dinner was 9€ and excellent. Mixta salad, pork chop, fries and beer or wine plus dessert. There were other choices for first and second courses. The municipal albergue next door is less cramped and has better showers. You can still get beer and dinner here if staying at municipal albergue.
