J'ai séjourné chez Gerard du 6-7 avril 2026. Très accueillant et vraiment comme un refuge devrait l'être. Gerard cuisinait bien et tenait compte de mon régime alimentaire. Bref, absolument recommandé. Niels

J'ai séjourné ici il y a quelques jours avec juste une autre fille, cet endroit est absolument fabuleux !! Bâtiment magnifique, très propre, lit confortable, nourriture savoureuse, je ne pourrais pas demander mieux.

Petit et intime avec une excellente douche et un hôte remarquable. Agréables conversations avec Gérard et les autres hôtes, excellente nourriture pour le dîner et le petit-déjeuner ! C'est hors de la route, mais cela vaut bien la peine de s'y rendre (il est facile de revenir à la route principale le lendemain). Je recommande de déjeuner en ville, puis de venir à l'Albergue pour l'enregistrement à 15h et de profiter d'une soirée relaxante !

J'ai séjourné ici le 17 septembre 2025. C'était comme un refuge, géré par Gérard qui est un homme inspirant et un cuisinier extraordinaire.....le repas qu'il a préparé était la meilleure nourriture que j'aie mangée jusqu'à présent sur le Camino. Il nous a fait sentir très bienvenu à Tamsin et moi et j'était triste de partir

I was the only guest at Gerard’s the night I stayed in early September, so this was very comfortable and easy for me.
I had a delicious moussaka with a great salad and really enjoyed my conversations with Gerard both in the evening and in the morning. He also prepares two sorts of breakfast on request. It was a very enjoyable and good value stay.

A reasonable price for this fresh new albergue. Gerard offers dinner at a reasonable cost. Lovely home cooking, comfy beds and great showers.

Great place to stay. Highly recommended Only 6 beds in the place the host Gerard was very hospitable, cooked a delicious dinner and goes out of his way to make you feel at home. A few kms up the road which was a few euros Taxi from the city centre if you don’t want to walk but you save on the kms the following morning to get back on the Camino as it leads back on further up

Nice German guys who was pilgrim himself leads place. It is super cozy, nice garden. We had huge home made dinner with salad, a lot of vegetables, chicken, wine and fruit as a dessert. Dinner was 8.5€. So definitely recommend. It is 10 minutes away from road but in morning you can take a shortcut and be back on a road faster so it is worth it!
