All Caminos App User (non vérifié)

There's an all night dance/ bar near the albergue. We experienced it both times we stayed here recently in the middle of the week. The bass is loud and people shout off and on all night.

although the location is convenient, with windows open it's a very noisy place at night which makes it difficult to sleep

but noisy, hot and feels congested

We stayed a night at the end of our Camino before embarking on Finisterra, and the advice given by Paulo was invaluable. She also helped with luggage storage and drying of our wet shoes. Very comfortable beds in a quiet room topped it off.

Great location and the staff was very friendly and helpful. There are plenty of dining choices nearby. It was very warm the night we stayed there, no AC, and with the windows open, it was very noisy.

We registered, stored our packs in the storage, went for lunch and returned to our assigned beds at 2:00. Nice compartment with 4 bunk beds and a windowed balcony which overlooks a busy street. I can believe it gets noisy at night but we would have no problem with that. Part of being convenient and close to everything.

Stayed here on May 19, 2024 for 23€ (after booking the day before on their website). Staff was welcoming and very helpful. They let me store my backpack in their luggage room before check-in so that I could go back to the Cathedral, collect my Compostela, and explore.
I was in an 8 bed accessible room which was mostly quiet. My bunk was roomy and comfortable,
Note: there was an emergency light of some kind on all night, so bring an eye mask if you're sensitive to light at night.

Stayed here on a Saturday night on the first warm day of Spring on the third floor, the street noise was loud with shouting and arguing until 4.30am. We closed the balcony shutters, but due to the heat and smell of the room it was unbearably stuffy.
There was one male and one female shower and toilet to share across the whole floor, for approximately 14 people.
The kitchen and laundry facilities were good, however there was only one washing machine and one dryer.

Bathrooms weren’t the cleanest and the beds are worn. I stayed here 6 years ago and it was better then.

Great hostel. The staff are really helpful and the dorms are ace. Bathrooms a bit cramped but other than that, all superb.
