Tried to get in touch with them and never got a reply. My WhatsApp conversation still shows “unread”. Sounded like a good place but got there and waited only for him to say Full. Thanks for nothing but wasted time

Ok albegue. At €17 not sure worth the higher than usual price and also 17€ for pasta and salad didnt find host particularly friendly. So so.

Marcelo is a great guy- very funny and super smart. Makes a real Italian red sauce and fresh salad. He definitely has the coolest stamp of any albergue I visited. Nice guy, cozy place, def recommend.

Simple but clean albergue. No dinner or breakfast was available this day. Large room with 15 beds. Sheets and towels were provided. One bathroom. Very convenient - right on camino.

The simple room with three beds and shared bathroom is alway

It’s in the details. Marcelo is a gentleman and a fantastic cook. As a pilgrim himself he did a Camino (the first of many he has done) and he wanted to make a life running an Alburgue.

There is a three bed room downstairs and bunk beds upstairs. The rooms and bunks are clean and very comfortable. The bunks big enough to sit up and not bash your head.

The bathrooms are clean and spacious too.

You can cook a meal or eat Marcello’s Italian style pilgrim dinner (highly recommended).

We laughed all night and shared tales of the long paths we have all been on.

Stay here it’s a treat and a real pilgrim experience.

Thank you Marcelo for a great stay. We will return. xox.

Regards,

Portland and Helen.

What a gem! Marcello runs a warm and personal Albergue. It’s clean with 3 beds on the ground floor and several upstairs. Large bathrooms. He’s walked different routes of the Camino many times. He also serves a lovely communal meal at night with wine and dessert. Highly recommend this place.

We entered the town and wound our way to the trail leading out of town, and there was our little oasis! Marcelo greeted us and made a real wax stamp for our credentials ❤️ Upstairs: Bunk beds that are tall enough to sit on and long enough for tall pilgrims. Each bed had an outlet and light. Clean sheets and comforters too! But, let me tell you about the splendid dinner! Marcelo treats you like family and the Italian pasta with a huge fresh salad was so tasty. Wine and bread was abundant. Flan for dessert. Thank you for the wonderful time.
