We were met by Connor who couldn’t have been more welcoming and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. The building is beautiful - very old with plenty of space. We had a double room just off the dorm. A very friendly group meal that evening. I would definitely stay there again.

This app says €15 but it’s actually €50

Dorm is €10 + whatever donation you’d like to pay on top.

Please update.

No blankets provided - which is not a problem, just be prepared. It was only slightly cool and I wore a long sleeve shirt and my hiking pants.

The bathroom had loads of hooks!! Why can’t every place do this!

Loved my stay here x

I highly recommend staying here. Very authentic and rustic. The beds are upstairs with one power plug beside your bed, and bathrooms are downstairs. My dinner was excellent and included appetiser of hummus and olives as well as delicious soup, pesto pasta, bread, wine and an insane strawberry mousse slice dessert to die for. I opted for breakfast the following morning to ensure a full tummy before the steep ascent to O Cebreiro. Oats, fruit, bread, butter, bread sticks, coffee. Bed is €10, dinner is €14 and breakfast is €5.

Had a great time here— very pretty place- no bed bugs. Good meal. Fun hosts. Beautiful area outside to relax. Great bar across the street with wifi. Very good value!!! Recommend it to all.

I recommend staying here. I stayed in a private room October 12, 2024. The bed was very comfortable and I had a good rest. Quiet. The fan and light come on in bathroom when you enter. Amazing old stone house. When I stayed there was no cell reception nir Wifi (not just here, but whole village).

Very clean albergue. High quality vegetarian shared meal. Limited space to dry clothes.

Miriam was a resentful host
Eager for money and pretending to be nice
Frugal dinner
Disappointing

An absolutely beautiful albergue with fabulous garden with fountain, hammocks, delicious vegetarian meals and kind and friendly staff.

I unfortunately woke up in the morning with bites in clusters and lines all over my feet. They use disposable sheets, so the communal dorm may just need to be fumigated.

No breakfast, simple dinner of pesto pasta, pumpkin soup and cheesecake.

I found a single engorged bedbug when I inspected my bunk on arrival. I let Miriam know and I changed beds to the other side of the room. The original bunk was "reserved" for the rest of the night. Miriam was very apologetic and explained that the recent hot weather and influx of pilgrims makes it unavoidable. She will do a thorough clean today. No bites on me this morning so hopefully I have escaped "unscathed."
