When I was leaving in the morning I wanted to shake hands to my host and say goodbye but she insisted to give me a hug. Very friendly and she also made breakfast for us. I highly recommand this place!

Stayed here 05/31 /2025..

In order to avoid a very noisy Saturday evening in Pamplona, I pressed on to this very simple albergue. The host was great, very helpful, and friendly .Great value at 7 Euro and a little breakfast (Donativo]. Good decision.

Very kind host, even when all beds were taken he laid out mattresses in the chapel/church. And accommodated all pelgrims who came in late.

It's nothing to look at, but it provided everything I needed at the time. The volunteers do a wonderful job and care. The price is amazing, a good distance from Pamplona. The local bar was close by and food delicious.

Albergue Cruz de Malta, é um excelente refúgio, atendido por hospitaleiros voluntários.
Pequeno, simples mas possui muitas camas com espaço suficiente entre elas.
Limpo, organizado e a receptividade é ótima.
Passei por lá em junho/2024.

I loved everything about my stay here on the 23rd August.
Staff are lovely.
The place could benefit from some money being spent on it but nevertheless it made for a great stay.
Highly recommended.

Lovely friendly host and very happy to have a kitchen, just that bit further out of Pamplona and glad we pushed a bit further.

Clean and simple. For €7 you can’t go wrong. The volunteer here was so so kind and caring. A memorable stay.

Wonderful welcome from Delfin the Hospitalio, who was very kind and thoughtful.

Facilities are clean and simple - cute kitchen, adequate bathroom, basic but comfortable dorm. Doors are locked at 9:30, and lights out at 10. At 6 you'll be woken with music, which might not be to everyone's preference! There's a simple donativo breakfast before you're on your way.

The church opposite has events (amazing concert of camino inspired music last night)

Definitely not for everyone, but if you're looking for a quiet spot away from the hustle and bustle of Pamplona, for €7 you really can't do better
