Je suis arrivé 3 minutes après sept heures après un message peu amical me demandant si je serais à l'heure. Il était occupé à vendre du vin à un pèlerin. Donc mes derniers mètres précipités avaient été inutiles. Quand ce fut mon tour, j'ai reçu de plein fouet : que j'étais en retard et qu'il n'y aurait pas eu de lit pour moi pendant la haute saison. Je me suis senti traité comme un petit enfant... Le lieu est vraiment magnifique, les espaces communs sont agréables, mais je n'ai pas trouvé les installations sanitaires très propres et les lits vraiment serrés les uns contre les autres. Cela m'a donné l'impression d'un seigneur parasitaire.

Après une longue journée de marche, je suis arrivé peu avant 19h00.
Le propriétaire Manuel n'était pas très accueillant, même plutôt en colère. Je ne me suis pas senti bienvenu. Le lieu est spartiate et il y a trop de lits dans les petites chambres.

Solide vieille ferme surplombant les pâturages, la vallée et les collines en face, vues magnifiques, logements confortables. Le propriétaire Manuel est un vieux grincheux qui prend grand soin des pèlerins. Bonne cuisine, apportez votre nourriture, Manuel vend de la bière et du vin mais j'ai trouvé une belle bouteille en ville avant où il y a deux petits marchés.

Endroit agréable. Rien que la vue sur la montagne, alors apportez de la nourriture avec vous. Il y a des planches à laver si vous voulez laver vos vêtements.

Absolutely beautiful setting on a hill looking out at mountains. There is a terrace to sit and enjoy the view.

As others have noted, it is wise to prepare your food beforehand and bring it with you. However, if you didn’t prepare anything, Manuel had a packet for sale with everything you need to make spaghetti and tuna. It cost €5. There is also a vending machine in the kitchen with snack foods and drinks including Coke and beer and some microwave meals. The kitchen has everything you need to cook - fridge, microwave, stove, oven, pots and hot water kettle.
Amenities are basic but sufficient. There are disposable sheets and pillowcases and a blanket on each bed.
Note that bicycle storage is not allowed.

Clean and comfortable. Scenery is picturesque and perfect! The cows 🐄 were an added touch.

Erg mooi op top van heuvel bij een
kerk. Gastvrij ontvangst en slapen in pittoreske kamers. Grote keuken en wasruimte.

Probably one of the best albergue I've been to so far.

First of all, Manuel, the host, is very nice and accommodating. He is very dedicated into making the albergue feel like home for pilgrims.
Don't hesitate to talk with him, he really has great things to say about the place!

Then, the place itself is quite big, it can host many pilgrims. It's located in a quiet hill away from the city and offers a gorgeous view on the mountains.

There are plenty of showers and toilets and it's clean.
There is also a kitchen with all you need to eat and cook. Just be aware that there was no pan when we were there, so if you need to boil pasta for example you need to bring your own.

There are tables in different places and even a very comfortable couch outside, it invites pilgrims to socialize together, but if you feel more like introspective, you'll find cozy and quiet places as well.

To summarize, it's a cozy place with a lot of character and I definitely recommend stopping there for the night!

In the green countryside, spartiate if you need a lot of confort but authentic camino experience with lot of room. All it's here thanks to the volunteer Manuel who take care of this place since 15 years.
