Me hospedé en una habitación privada por 60 euros.
Disfruté del almuerzo (pollo y papas fritas). Las habitaciones eran muy limpias y la ducha tenía agua caliente. En general, recomiendo quedarse allí.

The host denied our reservation even after showing her the WhatsApp conversation. Do not stay here.

I paid for a private room with 2 days notice as everywhere else in Hornillos was full, the reviews recommended the food in the bar/restaurant and it felt a very long way to Hontanas. Nowhere was it indicated that the bar/restaurant would be closed on Sunday. As it was fully booked there were a lot of hungry, disgruntled pilgrims. The owner made me a sandwich and a cup of coffee and sold me an apple and satsuma but I was left to work out how to make it last from 1pm Sunday till breakfast Monday. There was a nice kitchen and communal dining area but it was wasted as there was nowhere open to buy food. If I had known I could have bought food in Burgos or more likely I would have booked the next town after all.

Family run and very friendly hosts. Private room with bathroom great size, nice hot shower and heating excellent. Food at the bar was very tasty and many Pellegrinos staying elsewhere ate dinner here. Mass at local church was a nice surprise with us all reading a passage in our own language. Would stay here again.

Family run. Several separate joint room as well as single and joint rooms. We were in a room of 7 beds, all lower beds. There were no bunk beds. Single bathroom per room, which was adequate and clean. Main floor had a bar area and food items. Very good restaurant to the left when exiting-across from church plaza. Interesting food. Beds were premade with cotton sheets.

We arrived to the town about 1.30pm, all of the other places were full, so we tried here, we were greatfull for the last two beds in the Attic space, very comfy up there, it also has a toilet and shower in the Attic space.
The bar serves meals and snacks to enjoy on the patio.
Thanks for the stay!
