Desde Granja de Moreruela puedes seguir el Camino Sanabrés (sigue desde abajo) un total de 366km hasta Santiago, o puedes seguir la Vía de la Plata hasta Astorga 93,8km y desde allí seguir el Camino Francés los 256,9km restantes. La descripción de la ruta hasta Astorga continúa en la página 98, pero esta guía no incluye el tramo de Astorga a Santiago.

The Road

El Camino Sanabrés gira a la izquierda y hacia el oeste desde Granja. Sigue caminos agrícolas hasta llegar al Puente Quintos (6,7 km) sobre el Río Esla.

Una vez pasado el puente, el río se divide en dos rutas distintas para llegar a Faramontanos de Tábara. La ruta de la derecha sigue la carretera y es la preferida cuando las lluvias han sido intensas. Sigue la carretera hasta el primer desvío asfaltado a la izquierda para descender y retomar la ruta de la izquierda. La ruta de la izquierda gira a la izquierda al final del puente para seguir un sendero más pintoresco a lo largo del río.

Originalmente con otros dos, opté por quedarme en Casa Abuela en lugar de la albergue. Es muy lujosa para la vida normal de peregrino, y el costo también es más alto. Tere me recibió como se acordó por mensajes de Booking y proporcione un check-in fácil y amistoso. Todo está impecablemente limpio. Hay una sala de estar comunal y cocina. También un patio muy bonito. ¡Un pequeño oasis en Granja! Muy recomendado si necesitas algo más que una albergue. 2 mayo 25

Parece que alguien previamente se confundió pensando que el bar era un albergue. El letrero del albergue está en la pared del bar (en el exterior). Se paga en el bar, y el albergue en sí está más abajo en el lado opuesto. Muy básico pero barato, con duchas y mantas. Un microondas y una nevera. La pequeña tienda tienda está en la esquina del albergue. ScottG UK.

L'albergue ne se trouve plus à l'endroit indiqué.
Il se trouve en face de la maison communale.
Il ne dispose pas de 20 mais de seulement 8 places.
Le check-in a lieu au même bar.

To register & pay for the alburgue go to Bar El as you enter the town.
There is no alburgue at Bar El just the one up the road which is perfectly adequate

Camino de Sant…

Donde Víctor Luna is a new place in Granja. Just oposite the municipal albergue. The hostal is one of the best I have stayed in. Victor the owner is a super person. Fresh, bright, and airy and with great artwork on the walls. Great kitchen, well done rooms, unbelievable inside and outside public areas to relax and really unwind from a Camino day. For sure it is a stop you will remember.

Place to sleep. Never have been better. Very helpful hostalero. It’s across the church , a little bit farther than the Albegue on the ‘main road’. Nice interior made by an artist!

At the point where the route (marked on this app) meets the main road, the camino arrows take you left into the fields, away from the road. This is a little disconcerting but you do eventually end up where you need to be and it is far more pleasant than walking on the main road.
