The Road

Awesome albergue, close to supermarket. Clean rooms, bath have toilets and showers and clean towels. Beds have pillows and blankets, and they gave me a paper sheet to cover the mattress.
Nice kitchen to cook anything.
Great washers and dryers
and clothes lines and clothes pins.
Super nice staff

We didn’t come across any other decent opportunities to get cash from an ATM, to buy our preferred healthy lunch ingredients (tomatoes/lettuce etc) or to purchase female essentials (hint, hint ladies!) until Finisterre. Wish I’d known to stock up in Negreira as I got caught short by O Logoso…

What an incredible hostel - clean, friendly staff and atmosphere, and towels! Can’t say enough - wish every hostel was like this!

I woke up this morning with bed bugs crawling on me. They were on the bed, the wall, the floor - in the entire room, not just on one bed. Avoid this albergue until the problem is fixed; the bugs were hiding in the wall. August 25, 2024.

Great customer service, everything a pilgrim needs including a dryer. Wash and dry are 4€ each, which is reasonable. Raúl, the owner, is lovely. 100% recommended.

I left something in my hotel in Santiago and after walking all morning I realized I had to go back to Santiago. I called Taxi Lola and she was a savior! She spoke good English and got me there and back in no time. She is very professional and I’m so thankful I was referred to her! +34 686 31 6734

Had a great salad @ Bar Porto. They have a full tapas menu as well and were open at 5pm when I was there.

Walked around town looking for a place that served dinner early. Ate at Bar Oriel at 6:30. Simple, reasonable prices. The little pizza place on main road across from Information office also served early.
