This hostel is very new, has comfortable beds, and a bathroom almost like a hotel 😊. We received a warm welcome, and the food was really good and plentiful, as was the breakfast. Highly recommended 👍

Private room great. Staff pleasant. A good place to stop or stay.

It’s misplaced on map. The albergue is the building right on the curve of the road, not where the name is presently located

We didn’t stay here, but stopped for coffee. If you can push on a bit further, this would be the place I’d stay!

Best private room we have had so far on the Primitivo. Dinner was served all afternoon and was good.

The private room was comfortable and clean. No breakfast or dinner available, but plenty of great options in town.

Super friendly immaculately clean.Fabulous and helpful staff on a day of torrential wind and rain. Lots of hot water. Great facilities.

Very nice and new Albergue, love it.

Camino de Sant… (not verified)

In La Mesa there is only the Albergue Miguelín (which was too me as nice as the other comments suggests). The other one closed in March 2020. As there is a lot of pilgrims on this stretch it might make sense to reserve a place of you decided to go through Hospitales.

If you feel the need to fuel for the downhill tramp to the dam the Albergue Miguelin is perfect. Friendly, with clean servicios, and pastries and bocadillos to take away. Lots of outside tables too. The next place to get a refreshment is the hotel overlooking the reservoir, after the descent to the dam.
