Briallos

Situado en un desvío del camino, bien señalizado. Añade unos metros al trayecto pero cuenta con un albergue municipal en un pueblo tranquilo.

The Road

Antes de llegar a Briallos, el camino se acerca de nuevo a la N550. En este punto, hay señales para el Parque Natural del Río Barosa, y las cascadas. Las cascadas están a 500 m por la carretera, justo enfrente de este punto, y es un desvío que merece la pena. En la base de las cataratas hay merenderos, un bar y un baño.

Not sure about the previous comments about Pedro, he was nice actually, nothing unusual. Okay price, and a great communal dinner. It was actually really nice to stay at a place like this after all the previous albergues or hostels. Those who did not have a reservation could sleep on matrasses in a side building. After all everybody had a place to stay who got here.
To be honest, I would be more then happy to see more places like this on the Camino Portuguese or any other Caminos.

We stayed here for a night and it was wonderfull! We had a lovely diner and laughs with Pedro. We didn’t experienced anything from above.

The beds are good, there are extra blankets, beer and soda and gooda warm showers.

Can only echo previous comments - basic auberge with weird and slightly rude host. Despite the collective dinner I would not stay there again. Basic breakfast.

The Host told me the Albergue is now private a no longer Municipal. Reservations may be required.

The place appears to be friendly with communal dinners, a real camino experience but unfortunately, Pedro was rude and condescending with a "do as you're told" attitude towards the guests as if you're at school.

Walked up here to use facilities and cafe but no joy - waterfall is nice for a dip though

The host was very unfriendly and didn't help for further assistance. He only said:No beds. While waiting for taxi other pilgrims came, having reservations, although it says: No reservations possible!
