Great and lovely breakfast cafe just as you enter town! Cheap and big tostadas (recommend the tostada with omelette). Very clean and pretty bathrooms!

So, so Nice and welcoming! One the best places we have stayed so far - can only recommend San Bruno

I wouldn't eat here!
The waitress (daughter?) is impolite, rude, indifferent and absolutely not customer friendly or helpful!
She treats you as a (even Spanish-speaking) tourist like dirt. Doesn't understand that she can earn her living (also) thanks to the tourists. Owner not much better….

Bodega el Castillo is built into the side of the "hobbit" hill! It's amazingly good fun and a sangria with a free morsel of salami is only €1.50! Didn't eat here but I'd wager it's better than the salad I had at Hostal Moratinos.

Don’t stop at the first bar as you come to the village - go through and look for the hobbit house where you will find a fantastic bar / restaurant under the hill. The owner is an absolute delight. They have tapas, sandwiches (3.50-4euros) hot food, a fixed menu or a La carte. Open from 8.30am including on Sundays (closed Monday), they do breakfast. It’s a little tucked away but well worth following the signs to go around the corner.

Walk in, and before you check in you are asked to sit down and given water! Nothing is rushed, but not slow either. The Italian couple who run the place are lovely and helpful. Join the dinner, it is a step up from traditional pilgrims menus, Italian pasta as a first course! The foot pool I. The garden is fantastic and makes one question why they aren’t a standard Albergue feature. Stop here and enjoy!

Camino de Sant…

I went to San Bruno, expecting the usual albuerge and recieved so much more than expected. It's a home and everyone feels like family. I ended up loving it so much I took my first rest day here and don't regret it for a moment. The grass is perfect, the fountain is amazing for weary feet, and the cooking left absolutely nothing to be desired, it was amazing. But more than anything was the genuine kindness from everyone there. It's more than worth a stop
