Este es tu camino si empiezas a cuestionar la experiencia del Camino, quizás sintiendo que te abruma tanta gente y empezando a pensar que estás en un tour organizado…

Debo haber pasado solo a 3 otras personas en todo el camino y pude experimentar algunas de las vistas más increíbles. Fue una experiencia profunda y hermosa para mí y espero que tengas la misma experiencia.

¡Estoy muy feliz de haber elegido esta ruta alternativa! Adoré todo: El sendero forestal no solo parecía sacado de un cuento de hadas, sino que también fue agradablemente sombreado en un día caluroso. Llegué justo a tiempo para la misa del domingo. La piscina municipal fue muy agradable y no estaba abarrotada. ¡Y Casa Tiago es realmente una joya! Una hermosa casa antigua con mucho arte agradable y detalles cuidadosos. Como toallas de mano, estantes
especialmente diseñados para mochilas, café de verdad y mantequilla en el desayuno e incluso pequeños protectores en las esquinas de los estantes por si das un golpe. ¡Todo está hecho con tanta consideración! Definitivamente volvería aquí.

El pueblo es hermoso, la piscina se veía tentadora hasta que caminé hacia allá y vi que seguía muy verde. Creo que la piscina podría abrir en junio.

¡También tomé accidentalmente la ruta alternativa y fue magnífica! Las vistas fueron espectaculares una vez más. El paseo por el bosque y luego algunos de los caminos tranquilos también fueron bastante interesantes. De hecho, pasé más de una hora sin ver a nadie ni antes ni después de mí en esta caminata hasta que ambos caminos se volvieron a unir aproximadamente a 10 km de Estella. Realmente vale la pena.

Leí las otras reseñas sobre esta siendo una buena ruta para tomar y la caminata superó mis expectativas. Lamentablemente, la piscina sigue cerrada en este momento (restaurante abierto a partir de las 18:00). Me he registrado en el albergue y es rústico y acogedor hasta ahora

First, the Alternate Camino to here is GORGEOUS! Likely my favorite day of hiking in 15 so far. Tiago is a great host - since the only restaurant in town was closed the day we were there, he offered dinner to everyone staying for 10€ and it was delicious and contained veggies YAY, meat, and fruits YAY. Also breakfast was a wide variety and filling. Definitely recommend.

This town has a pool 300 metres from the Albergue. Had food and drinks there with other pilgrims. Went swimming also. The host at the Albergue was friendly and helpful. We paid 30€ for a single room but it had a double bed and was perfect. Excellent value

THE RESIDENTS HAVE NO RESPECT FOR PILGRIMS!!!

At 1am we lost our shit, the local children run screaming through the streets all night!!!
We had asked 4 or 5 times and the parents sat there and then confronted us saying you are here for 1 day we do not care about you Pilgrims. This is our town and we do what we want! You are not welcome here!
A mother aggressively shouting at me and my wife as we were trying to sleep and her husband/ a local man getting aggressive with us!

The food at the bar (only place in town) was awful.

The town is run down in many places, the churches never open, vacant buildings everywhere and rude residents beyond belief.

We loved our stay here, from the well stocked kitchen, to the free washing machine with plenty of hanging space and clips for clothes, to the comfy living room with TV and blanket, to our comfy beds with nice sheets and blankets, to space to set and hang our packs and bags.
Breakfast was great, too! Everything we needed for a great price!

Amazing host and really cozy vibes.

Host deserves much more than he thinks he does, he is really nice, speaks decent English and seems like he doesn’t get mad easily. He explained everything perfectly and came out of his way to open a closed door(11.00) and explain when do they open (12.00) and where can I get something to eat and drink. It was also no problem for him to let me leave my backpack there until then.

10/10 would recommend :)
