Abadín se sostiene con el tráfico de peregrinos del camino y el tráfico de camiones del intercambiador cercano. De aquí a Santiago, su proximidad al tráfico por carretera aumenta a medida que el camino trata de evitar la N-634 entre aquí y Santiago.

Santa María se celebra el 8 de septiembre.

The Road

Al final del muy corto Abadín, el camino gira a la derecha (siguiendo la señal hacia Correos) y cuando llega a Correos gira a la izquierda. El camino aquí está pavimentado y tranquilo. Mantenga un ojo abierto para el sendero cubierto de hierba que deja el camino a su derecha. Desciende para cruzar el río y finalmente regresa al pavimento, girando a la izquierda cuando lo hace. Entra en la zona de As Paredes tras pasar por encima de la A-8.

Quite possibly my favorite albergue on the Camino. Small clean rooms (4 and 6-person rooms), comfy beds with individual power outlets, linen and towel included, hairdryer in the bathroom, wonderful and well appointed kitchen, cheap and convenient laundry, great communal space, wonderful host - this place has it all!

Alberque Xabarin in Abadin
We walked past Gontan to Abadin and we were glad we did! What a beautiful property. Our host Daniel was wonderful. This location brings new meaning to pilgrim delight. Only 4/6 Pilgrims per room. Spacious and clean bathrooms. Fully equipped kitchen, the best we've seen yet. Your bed is made up with cotton sheets and you are provided with a towel! Be kind to yourself and make this a must stop. Beun Camino.

Albergue Xabarin may very well be the best on the Norte. The host Daniel is very welcoming snd friendly. The place he created here is one of a kind. So with the stop!

Albergue Xabarin is absolutely the best hostel I’ve visited during my Camino. The beds are spacious and clean, the showers are like a waterfall just keeps on coming! So if you stay in Abadín go here!
