Hazas es el centro de la zona de Liendo, una colección de pueblos repartidos por este amplio valle. Como tal, tiene la mayoría de los servicios que necesita. La Iglesia de Nuestra Señora de la Asunción se encuentra frente al albergue.

The Road

Desde el albergue, el camino sube para unirse a la N-634, girando a la izquierda para seguirlo una corta distancia. Cuando se divide, el camino oficial gira a la izquierda para dejar la carretera principal y descender a Tarrueza. Alternativamente, puede seguir en la N-634 en un curso más corto a Laredo; esta opción se unirá al camino oficial en un gran cruce.

Until summer season starts, the albergue is only open from Monday to Friday. It's 10 €, you can do your washing for free (there's even washing liquid for it). It was very clean and has a good kitchen. Nice hot shower.
The hospitaleros come from 7-8pm to check you in but you can get in and settle yourself earlier.

Having followed the map at La Magdalena and exhausted ourselves on the hill, we took the bus from Liendo to Laredo. Well worth the €4.

Really helpful staff, translating everything in to English. Not the easiest of diners, I’m vegetarian and my sisters gluten free. €12 for 3 courses but we had 2 courses with a bottle of wine for €7:50 each. Excellent

Have just walked into Laredo from Liendo. The Camino route is very different to the online map. Goes out to the coast. Some great lookouts and two steepish climbs

Highly recommend Posada La Torre Del La Quintana at Liendo. The rooms and staff are brilliant. Budget price for luxury stay.

Had a rest here but pushed on to Laredo ad I wanted to stay at the Trinidad. Very relaxed and welcoming place stayed and had a couple of beers. Heard that the Albergue is top notch and felt like a place I would be very happy to spend an evening Will go back😉 @caminobertie
