Charming albergue and encountered pilgrims who enjoy sharing their experiences .Clean, comfortable bunks with blankets. Lovely view of the active plaza below. The showers good sized and hot water. The staff is friendly and helpful. I did not eat here, but I heard lots of positive comments from those who did, including it was a good price. A highlight on my Camino!

What a gem of an Albergue! Not only is it wonderfully quaint and full of charm, but the staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome. The accommodations are clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully arranged.

The real highlight, though, was the food. Both dinner and breakfast exceeded my expectations — carefully prepared, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. You can tell the staff put real care into every detail. And for the quality, the price is more than reasonable.

If you stay here, do yourself a favor: don’t skip dinner or breakfast. This place is truly special!

I chose this private hostel because I read many positive reviews.
I can't say I enjoyed my stay. Two bathrooms for 16 people. Even the private rooms use shared bathrooms. And you have to wait your turn.
If you stay on the first floor, you'll hear all the noise from the floor above. There are beautiful wooden floors, but unfortunately they creak and make noise, and every sound is amplified, especially at night.
I'll say a word about the bathrooms. This isn't the fault of the albergue, but of the pilgrims who stay there. Apparently, I often find myself walking with rude pilgrims because I often find flooded bathrooms, hair everywhere, and toilets that aren't exactly clean.

The communal meal is the highlight! Everything was so good and thoughtfully prepared. The accommodations were clean. The staff is wonderful. I highly recommend.

My partner and I got a wonderful private double room, which was fairly inexpensive, complete with real sheets and a towel. The meals are vegetarian, healthy, AND delicious even to non vegetarians. The host even does the laundry for you, which was a nice surprise. There is only one shared bathroom for each floor, but it was never an issue for our stay. Highly recommend!

We have walked over 2000km on Camino routes. We have stayed in some really lovely places with some really lovely hosts. This was the best ever. Thank you Nicholaas

Amazing food, which has been well documented.

Salt and pepper shakers were glued to Hot Cars so you could zoom them across the table. What a nice attention to detail.

Responsive host with great clear communication.
Clean, small private room, but the shared bathroom left a little to be desired.
The night we were there seemed particularly busy, and the wooden floors tended to reverberate making it quire noisy.
There was no dinner the night we were there, but the breakfast was beautifully presented and tasty.
Great music in the morning!

I stayed there on a unique night, when we were only two of us, with another pergrina. Although it “wasn’t good for the business“ for me it was a gift to have a restful sleep, and a toilet on my own 😆 Host were very helpful, no language barriers :) I loved the music selection in the common area, and I think the “weak-up” music in the morning is also nice and useful.

Nicholas was a great host. It’s obvious he enjoys running an albergue. When I thought my shoes were missing, he tracked down a local shoe guy to fit me for new ones. Breakfast in the morning was fresh, tasty, and healthy.
