The albergue has everything you need
The dorm is really big it has 12 bunk beds right next to each other so it feels a little crowded, but you can make do for one night. The bathroom was nice and clean and they offer a washing Maschine.
My highlight was the big garden with two hammocks to rela.
Dinner was a salad as a starter then a choice of pork, chicken or fish with rice, a fried egg and fries. Dessert was ice cream.
I saw that they offer a vegetarian option as well and accomodate other restrictions.
If the food is not to your taste there is a bar/Restaurant right across the street with common food like pizza or burgers.
Breakfast was toast, and egg and jam and a prepackaged croissant
The couple that owns the place is super nice

Everything was clean, good meal. No fuss. I’d stay again.

This was our first Albergue after starting in Pamplona, and ended up being a highlight of the Camino. Fascinating old home, wonderful host, and an excellent evening meal. We stayed in a private room which was very comfortable. The well shaded garden and small plunge pool was wonderful after a hot day on the track.

Nothing fancy, but exactly what a good Albergue should be.

Excellent value for money.

There are only two Albuergue options listed on Wise Pilgrim so I went with this one. The owner was good at communicating via Booking. It is a very old house that has not seen a lot of upgrades. I originally booked a dorm and this looked okay but there was a private available so I took that. There is one bathroom that is shared by the private rooms upstairs. I noticed a strong cat urine smell upstairs as others have noted.but never saw any cats in the premises.. My “private” room could only be accessed by walking through a “non private” section and the door to my room was so old that it would not close. Also the room had a door that could open to the other private room and it was not very private .as you could see light from the other room. However the bed was comfortable. The pilgrim meal was a choice of chicken, pork or fish plus soup, salad, rice, fried egg and French fries. Frozen ice cream cone for dessert. All very satisfying. The outdoor area is lovely and has chairs, tables and two hammocks. Not so good in bad weather and no indoor community area of note. This is all acceptable for one night stay. Hardworking young family.

Cristoforo quickly answered my WhatsApp questions and reservations. Room was cool (March) but provided sheet and warm blankets, so great sleeping. Pilgrim meal very good! This young family running this alberque are very friendly. Recommended especially if you don’t want to push through to Puente La Reina.

Arrived early, checked in right away

Host kind and friendly. He is busy serving locals and pilgrims who come here to eat.
And he still came to check on me to see if I knew where everything was.

I wish my Spanish was better, it would be great to learn more about this building and the town from the locals

The Private room is not good give a miss, the dinner was great €14. Breakfast 1x slice of toast, 1x mini croissant, tea or coffee.
Garden in need of maintenance overgrown & dirty.
Try across the road another Albergue.

We arrived tired and hungry from Cizur Menor and were pleased with our private room with shared bath. The albergue had a rustic charm that matched the countryside we’d walked through. We enjoyed a hearty and delicious meal - and they even accommodated my mom’s diet by boiling her potatoes instead of frying them.
