Lovely posada in town, about a block from the church. The dinner the landlord made us was outstanding, as was the breakfast which is included in the room price. We stayed there in April 2025 and found it delightful.

There's a covered bus stop just after you cross the N630 before yiu reach Castellanos. Good for a rest. Nice murals too.

Lovely murals in this village. Make sure you see the one of Santiago cathedral on the other side of the water tower.

If you go past the church to an agricultural road that leads under the highway, you’re on the wrong path.
