A good sandwich bread!
The owners made me the sandwich I wanted. They are very friendly and speak English. Great coffee and fresh orange juice.

I can’t recommend this albergue highly enough. The facilities are outstanding, the welcome friendly and warm, and dinner outside on the patio was one of the best (including freshly baked focaccia). Don’t miss this albergue!

Martinette was the most incredible host and Albergue Villares De Orbigo was my favorite place to stay on the Camino so far. Her warm welcome—including sharing cups of tea—was the perfect landing after a long, weary day in the rain. Dinner and breakfast were delicious; the dormitory, bar, and courtyard were peaceful and beautiful; and her collection of donated hiking gear saved me. Such a brief encounter, but now one of my cherished Camino memories.

This place was highly recommended and I know why! Marta was an amazing host and took care of any of our needs! Dinner at Arnol’s was fabulous and her breakfast layout was incredible!

We arrived at Albergue El Encanto looking for a late breakfast. Breakfast had finished and the kitchen was closed but the hostess generously served us coffee and fabulous cake and only asked for a donation. A wonderful experience and true Camino spirit. If we ever pass this way again we would have no hesitation in staying here.

This Albergue was the nicest we stayed at yet! Marta is a dream hospitaliero, warm and welcoming and takes care of everything. The comfort is exceptional, and the decor will blow you away!! Gorgeous, open air courtyard with sitting areas! Definitely get the breakfast as well!! Villares de Orbigo is charming too, and as Marta says, it’s on the original Camino. Certainly worth the added 2K!!! Thanks Marta, we will be back!!

Camino de Sant…

This is a must stay stop for the extra couple of Kms. Bags of character, a great hostess and a lovely bar with great food. There is also a guy with a Camino garage with his pilgrimage memorabilia.
