Schöner Aufenthalt in den Mehrbettschlafsälen dieses Albergue. Ich hatte Abendessen und Frühstück und genoss das Essen und die Zeit, die ich mit anderen Pilgern verbrachte. Die Betten waren komfortabel und sauber, und da nicht viele in den Mehrbettschlafsälen waren (sie haben auch Privaträume), verteilten sie uns großzügig, so dass wir viel Platz und Privatsphäre hatten, was eine liebevolle Geste war. Ich empfehle dieses Albergue gerne weiter.

Großartiger kleiner Halt für Ceveza con Limón. Auch Tapas, hilfreiches Personal. Schöne Terrasse gegenüber der Kirche mit brütenden Störchen

Das ist nach der langen Strecke von Vilar de Mazariffe. Ein sehr unhöflicher, gleichgültiger und verachtungsvoller junger Mann bediente. Er schien westliche Pilger nicht zu mögen. Verdrehte die Augen über mein Spanisch und tat so, als würde er nicht verstehen.

Ich hatte gerade Desayuno

Vermeiden.

Ich versuchte, für Juni eine Reservierung zu tätigen, erhielt aber keine Rückmeldung. Schließlich kontaktierte ich sie und wurde mir mitgeteilt, dass der gewünschte Termin ein Montag war und dass sie an diesem Tag zur Ruhe geschlossen sind.

Would not recommend. Cold, indifferent reception, and during the entire stay. Private rooms are tiny- just 2 single beds, no hooks anywhere in the Albergue to hang up wet jackets, trousers, etc. No common area to sit except outside. (In the rain). Dining room fireplace on all day so it was uncomfortably warm during dinner. Should have gone to Tio Pepe where pilgrim friends said they had a good stay.

The lady charged me €5.95 for a peach, two yogurts and a snack bag of cashews. Feel like I’ve been cheated.

Be aware it's a long straight road from Villar de Mazarife to Villavante, about 10km. No services, no water, no shelter. Bear in mind that Villavante is small, and there's not much there so the next place is O Hospital (plenty of options there for food and accommodation) which is maybe 4km further..

Very welcoming staff. Nice clean rooms and bathroom. Local bar/restaurant used by pilgrims and locals. Great garden/back yard area for relaxing. Food surprisingly good and not just standard salat/chicken/ice-cream menu like any other albergue.

I’m staying in a private room at Tio Pepe and it’s a really nice place. My room is very comfortable, there is a lovely courtyard which is popular with pilgrims and locals, and the staff are very hard working and attentive. There are vegan and vegetarian options too. Plus the drinks are very reasonable. Definitely one of the better places I have stayed on the Camino

ABSOLUTELY LOVED MY TIME HERE!! Hosts were amazing and super friendly. The communal dinner was phenomenal as well. Cute small little place and very clean!
