Mein Lieblingsort bis jetzt. Daniel und Lydia sind so wunderbare Menschen, so freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der Gartenbereich ist eine wunderschöne Umgebung zum Entspannen und die Hängematten sind großartig, nach einem erfrischenden kalten Fußbad. Das Abendessen war auch herrlich. Betten sind durch Holzwände unterteilt und es gibt persönliche Steckdosen. Duschen und Toiletten sind sauber. Es war alles, was ich mir wünschen konnte.

Ich gehe hier vorbei, um mich nochmal für die beste Behandlung zu bedanken, die ich unterwegs erhalten habe. Ich kam an und wollte gehen, weil ich Probleme in Mansilla hatte, aber nicht nur halfen sie mir, sie zu lösen, sondern sie bemühten sich, als wären es ihre eigenen Probleme.
Wenn du einen Ort suchst, an dem du gut behandelt wirst und nicht wie ein Geldautomat, dann ist diese Unterkunft deine Wahl.
Im Vergleich zu letztem Jahr haben sie an jedem Bett Steckdosen und Vorhänge hinzugefügt, was es noch besser macht!
Danke für alles, Lydia und Daniel. Ach ja, und Link! Die beste Verwöhnung unterwegs.

Very friendly host Lydia took care of each guest’s needs with warmth and professionalism. Very happy to recommend. (Just take care when crossing the highway.)

Lydia made the best salad . And we had an early dinner!!! 6:30PM. Lying in the hammock in the yard was wonderful. Fortunately only 3 women were there this night

Casa Camino was bought by the beautiful Lydia and her partner Daniel (and a big hairy golden retriever)in April 2023.
The last review should be ignored because that was before the present owners.
Lydia and Daniel have big plans for this lovely albergue and they work very hard to make it as comfortable as they can.
Both have been Pilgrims so they understand what is needed after a long day.
I booked directly on WhatsApp and Lydia was great at replying. It’s cheaper to book directly with Lydia rather than with Booking.com.
I paid €28 for dinner, bed and breakfast.
Dinner was homemade and delicious. There was plenty if food. We had a delicious salad to begin with, bread and then a chicken and vegetable rice dish. It was very nice. Dessert was a choice of two different icecreams or fruit.
Bunks are in little double spaces and are solid and quiet. Some bunks are really wide like a double bed size.

It’s very nice to sit in the garden outside.
This is such a friendly albergue.
I’ve really loved it.

Albergue la casa del Camino is just a wonderful place . Daniel and Lydia could not been any more hospitable. The place is immaculate , I saw Daniel mopping 3 times while I was here . He also mapped out an itinerary for me for after my Camino . Lydia made a wonderful fresh salad with cheese I loved and I don’t like cheese and chicken and rice . Followed by yogurt w/ amazing honey or ice cream sandwiches.
It felt like a rest day .
The garden has hammocks , foot soaking area and a huge outside area to relax in.
The couches are a comfy place to talk to other pilgrims , Daniel and Lydia .

Such a LOVELY PLACE. Me and my mum are vegan and we have been struggling to get real food in the camino. The dinner was only 10€ and included three dishes, wine was not included but, as the owner said, "you dont need wine to walk, just water" which is completly true for me.
Garden is really clean and comfy, only issue could be the noise from the road.
We feel very rested after spending the evenning in the hammocks. The dog will be with you all Day around, he is very very good.

This is in a little hamlet. No supermarket or bakery. Having said that, I think it has new owners as they have only been here for a year,but Albergue has been here much longer. They are a young couple very lovely hosts. Link the dog is also very friendly. The outside and inside could use a little maintenance for sure. But very clean and good water pressure. The food is vegan/veg for dinner and was tasty. Breakfast is continental for 3e.

Arrived last night after booking by phone.
Not on booking.com yet.

Very kind and friendly new owners who will do anything (almost - my impression) to help out and make you happy :-)

Nice warm homemade meal for dinner, eggs for breakfast if you ask and those wonderful hammocks in the garden.

I am one happy pilgrim 🥰
