One restaurant, Asador El Tremendo, does a pilgrim menu for about 10 euro. The grocery store in Cizur MAYOR is a short walk to your west, though a smaller shop with basic staples is available in town.

Feiertage

The Romería (a sort of local pilgrimage) to the Santuario de Nuestra Señora del Perdón (the namesake of the alto ahead, see history inset below) is held on Easter Monday.

Geschichte

The Hospitallers of Jerusalem (the Knights of Malta) cared for pilgrims between here and the Alto de Perdón. Later, when the Knights Templar disappeared, they also took over operations west of here in Puente la Reina.

Like other comments say, there are some restaurants but there is also a small grocery right next to La Parrillada which has mostly shelf stable goods and dairy products. But it’s good to pick up some stuff if staying in the Order of Malta albergue and you want to cook.

The hospital is where I had to stay . It hosts up to 6 pilgrims ages 60 and over. Wonderful place, $40 euro gets private room, soaps, towels, blankets, dinner and breakfast! I loved the hospital !!

It's uphill from Pamplona to Cizur Mayor and the hill continues up to Alta Perdon.

Lovely spot for water in the park at Cizur mayor, fill up here.

Accommodation half full tonight. Limited food options in town but a pilgrim menu available.

is very much open. It’s Sunday at 12pm and around 8 people here. Only breakfast available. Kitchen available. No shops in the small town but a couple bars/ restaurants are open in the day . Pilgrims mass at 6.30pm.

The supermarket on the way was closed and had a sign saying liquidation on the door. It might be best not to rely on this one right now. Worth someone else’s opinion as it is currently a holiday period.
