I'm in the midst of a heatwave, and wanted a short day from Ponte de Lima, so I made the reservation via WhatsApp. The owner Rosalia is very responsive.

Though I took my time walking it soon became clear that I would be arriving very early, so I sent a message asking if I could leave my backpack until check in. She responded that the room was ready whenever I arrived.

The house was easy to find right on the Camino, and she has several signs directing you to the back door, which was open. No one was at the house, so I sent another message asking which room was mine, and she answered that I could choose any room.

The rooms are large and comfortable, as is the shared (among three rooms) bath.

A home cooked dinner of salad, spaghetti, steak, and dessert was also offered.
