Both albergues closed. No accommodation at the Embalse. August 2020.

Albergue de embalse de Alcántara is currently open. A lovely modern albergue close to the lake. €15 with breakfast and laundry included. Food a reasonable price. Beautiful location. As this is pretty much the only accommodation for several km, best to book in advance.
