A really kind host and a really great place. The architecture made the feeling more at home. Great beds, great bathrooms and showers.
Bar next to the albergue, could really enjoy time there.
Dinner at the next albergue (100m apart) was delicious. Definitely one of the best stays on the road.

This albergue has super nice bunk beds, great modern showers with adequate changing room, a suitable kitchen, and a great courtyard (and bar) to relax in! I really enjoyed staying here and talking to Manuel the owner who spends a lot of his time running the bar. I highly recommend sitting at the bar and having a chat with him. He’s a carpenter and did all of the renovations to the stone building himself!

I’ve only been here a few hours and I can already tell how wonderful this albergue is. I was greeted so warmly by Manuel and his wife - they are so wonderful. The albergue is clean and the bunks are spaced out. They all have privacy covers, an outlet, shelf and light with a blanket. The patio bar area is great and the menu was also good. Manuel called over his horse to say hello - it roamed around us while we all relaxed. I would definitely come back - it’s worth the push after Negreira!!

Stayed here in 2019 and it was excellent. With the addition of the outside bar, it has got much better. Manuel is a great host and his wife and staff work hard to provide great food.

Manuel is such a lovely host and works very hard. He has a bar next door with draught beer and a lovely view. A communal dinner is offered for €13 at the albergue next door (cooked by his wife). Alternatively you can cook in the kitchen however you will have to bring groceries as there are no shops nearby!

(Early October 2023). Thoroughly enjoyed both the Alburgue AND the restaurant next door. Did laundry and hung it outside; clean and comfortable room; big yard to relax and sit in the sun. I also enjoyed relaxing next door, sitting outside and communing with the roosters. Highly recommend it as a stop along the camino!

Bel endroit pour dormir et assez calme , c est propre , peu de wc pour le nombre de personnes . j avais réservé par whapps avec confirmation, mais mon nom n apparaissait pas sur sa liste, heureusement il y avait de la place . Chacun a son intimité dans le dortoir de 8 et c est parfait . Je recommande

Arrived soaked through from Santiago to a clean, comfortable room and a heater. Hot shower and a TV in private room then a generous community meal with wine at the next door albergue for only €12. The locals had gathered in the bar to enjoy a Friday evening of drinking, singing and playing accordion and they were happy for us to sit and listen. The hostal owner gave us complimentary herbal liquor and was up before dawn next day to make breakfast and coffee for pilgrims passing by.
Thoroughly recommend- he knows how to care for pilgrims well

One of the cozies albergues I've been to, very nice staff, lovely fireplace in the common room, beds are very comfy, and the pilgrim meal is excellent. The app says it opens at 1, but on Sundays at least you can't check in until about 14:30.
