Ein warmer freundlicher Empfang, großartiges Privatzimmer mit eigenem Bad, aber am meisten geschätzt habe ich, dass Sandra mir zu Hilfe kam, nachdem die Transportfirma meinen Rucksack an den falschen Ort geschickt hatte. Ich werde ihr ewig dankbar sein 🙏

Me and my daughter were really impressed with place on arrival, clean, quiet, friendly . We had room 2 beds single and double. Unfortunately I woke 2 hours into my sleep covered in bits. I checked the bed to see bed bugs running round. Got in bed with my daughter. Tried to explain in the morning but hide behind don’t understand, even when we translated. Paid the bill and left. Not nice experience. I’m covered in bits.

Started in Porto this was our first stop. We had a double room that was huge with a private bath and shared balcony. We also had two good meals and 5 beers between us all for 84 Euros. Clean and a good staff. Would stay again.

Very friendly people. My mom and I split the price of a double room normally $50 so came out to be 25$ per person. Allowed us to check in at 12. Rooms were clean and hot showers. Very comfy beds lots of pillows and laundry was done for u. Very nice and clean.

We had a large private room and bathroom that was clean and comfy. We opted in for dinner and the fish was great. Laundry line outside and lovely views of the garden. Easy walk to the waterfront for gorgeous sunset. Must pay in cash. Highly recommend.

A wonderful evening was spent at Sandra’s and the bonus of having our clothes washed was appreciated by us both. The dinner in the restaurant was delicious, as was the breakfast. Recommended!

We stayed here on 16th June. A beautiful family run Pensao. They even did our washing and hung it out! We ate at the restaurant too. Recommend. Evelyn and Jo

We are a group of 3 ladies who stayed in a large room , 1 x double bed and 1x single bed. We had a private bathroom. Although place is a bit dated it’s really clean and comfortable. We are in the restaurant and had fab meal for €10.
Definitely recommend this place.
We did have to pay in cash so please be aware of this.

We’ve walked the French way and we’ve walked the Portuguese central route and within simply a couple minutes of entering cafe Sandra we knew that this place was special.
The room was fabulous and very clean and the food was great and the attitude of everyone that works here was so uplifting.
It’s family owned and multigenerational and it might be in my top two places of every place that I’ve stayed on the Camino.
