Es ist sehr wahrscheinlich, dass es geschlossen wird. In den letzten Jahren war er nur für einige Monate im Sommer geöffnet, und es gibt keine eindeutigen Hinweise darauf, dass er 2024 wieder geöffnet sein wird.

No bedbugs. Super clean. 2 beds per room, if not full everybody gets their own room. Restaurants and supermarkets nearby. Friendly hosts. I can only recommend.

Open but bedbugs were spotted here unfortunately. Please inform if this is still the case if you go here. It is a lovely place though so hopefully they can fix it soon.

Attatched to church. Quaint little pkace only 2 in a room with single beds! Lovely hospitaleros!

This is the first place I’ve paid for, took a look and then decided not to stay. Please take a look first and then decide if you want to sleep here. I did not feel safe. Doors only lock on the outside. Church is gorgeous but closed except Sundays.
For 6 euro it will be a dream for some and a nightmare for others.

The Albergue de Cacabelos is open! Beatiful, 2 bed rooms for everyone. New clean showers, washing area and lots of outside space. Friendly volunteers. Microwave and kettle. Very good facility for 6 euros!!

The albergue opened this year for a short summer season. A local told me it reopened in July but when I passed on 24/9/22 there was a hand-written notice outside saying it was closed due to end-of-season. I’m guessing it will open again in Spring/Summer 2023.
