Wir haben heute Nacht übernachtet. Sehr angenehmer Gastgeber.

This Albuergue has both a dorm area with bunk beds and also private rooms and bathrooms downstairs. Both eat together in the dining room. The front yard has lots of chairs and tables to enjoy the good weather but no real communal space indoors. The host is the daughter of the original owner who has recently passed away. She stated she is not planning to have a full dorm area so although there are a ton of bunk beds it won’t be crowded.
Private rooms was nice but not fancy. There is a large
Outdoor area for drying laundry. Dinner was salad, gazpacho, vegetable paella, and dessert with bread and wine and water. I thought the stay was lovely and don’t understand the
Other negative comments. Perhaps different vibe now that the daughter runs the place. She is a physiotherapist so you might ask her for help if you are having issues.Town is small but there appeared to be a small shop. Not any other restaurant areas .

Stayed here in mid May. Clean place. Beds were a tad thin, but I still overslept until 7 :) dinner was amazing and the hosts work really hard to make it a nice communal experience. Breakfast was equally delicious.

The pelgrim menu is delicious here!
The bunkbeds are older and the mattresses very thin.

We choose the scenic route to stay away from the trucks….a great decision. An even better one - staying here!! Courteous and attentive staff, great dinner, and nice breakfast. Private room with nice beds. Very clean. We will stay here next time for sure!

Had a great stay here. Nice outside space and a nice homely feel despite many bunks in one room. Some of the mattresses were better than others, but we had our pick as it wasn’t too busy in October. Dinner was great! Would recommend staying here.

Read many good reviews about the hospitality here, but we certainly did not receive it. Very cold, indifferent check in. unceremoniously taken to our basement room- damp.
We booked a private room as we are getting over colds. (Normally choose bunks). Tiny room, no side tables, no bedside lamps just a fluorescent ceiling light. Beds were uncomfortable. Absolutely no where in our room or hallways to hang up our wet rain coats, trousers, towels! Sure there is a clothesline outside…. But it was raining.
The fireplace in the dining room was on all day, making it uncomfortably warm during dinner.
Should have gone to Tio Pepe, where we met other pilgrims - they said it was great.
Would not recommend this place.

Have to admit that was a little overwhelming to be in one big room.
However the food was amazing - the vegetarian meal was just incredible.

Stayed here October 5, 2024. Nice arrangement of bunks with room between. However, this is the first Albergue to not offer a sheet or pillowcase. I had friends staying in one of the private rooms and they had fully made up beds. I asked the hospitalero and they offered to sell me disposable sheet and pillowcase for 2 euros. The other issue was the complete lack of any protein in the meals: dinner (was delicious) but consisted of salad, gazpacho, paella with veggies and bread. Breakfast was bread, cereal and drinks.

Alb San Antonio de Padua is such a nice place to stop for the night after a day of walking. Very clean. Room for the bunks was big, clean, bright and airy.

The drying lines for wash were in the sun all afternoon, so all the clothes dried.

Dinner was excellent.

I definitely recommend this albergue.
