It is an amazing Albergue , Juan is a fabulous host and fantastic chef.
I love the vegetarian creamed soup. it’s delicious!! Big place has a lovely backyard with cherries and clothesline if you wash your clothes.
The best part is when Juan helped me with my bad blisters. It is so heartwarming that he cares to help me. Not many hospitaleros do that. He is just a wonderful soul as he was once a pilgrim himself and he knows the feeling of having a blister And for that i was grateful we choose this Albergue to rest our weary bodies for the night. Commendable!!!They offer cold drinks as a bonus….

The hospitality is amazing. The accommodations are great. The meal was one of the best I’ve had on the entire Camino. I’m not vegetarian, but I loved this vegetarian meal!! Wish I could have another go!

Amazing hospitality! The owner, Juan, drained and threaded my blisters for me!! He’s a pilgrim who embodies the spirit of the Camino.

Juan has created an amazing oasis along the Camino here. With a bar, clean bathrooms, comfortable dorms (blankets! darkness!), and even a little library corner, I felt immediately at home. Both dinner and breakfast were wonderful. Be sure to take a look at the before and after photos that are displayed on one of the walls - clearly there was so much love and effort poured into the place. (Also there’s sweet cats on the property, which was a personal
Bonus 😸)

This albergue is very efficiently run with several volunteers and others helping Juan the innkeeper. There is an interior courtyard with places to socialize, a bar, and communal table for eating outdoors in nice weather. There is another walled backyard area with hammocks and places to hang laundry to dry. The wifi doesn't work very well except inside the courtyard. The dormitorio where we slept was pitch black at night. Beds were pretty comfortable with warm blankets provided. Showers and bathrooms okay, tight quarters.

Juan is the owner of this beautiful Aubergue.
A man who cares for his Pilgrims with his very big heart.
Top guest and the best of the whole Camino so far. This place is really not to be missed.
Thanks Juan!!!

This is a new Albergue for us (6th Camino Frances). What a gem! Juan welcomed us in a very warm, friendly and relaxed way.
Think Albergue Verde in Hospital de Órbigo, but with a more hip vibe.
Huge terrace with equipped bar and upstairs library. Very decent music playing all afternoon : classic rock and everything in between. Perfect for relaxing with a beer, journaling, chatting, chilling, watching the kittens play. Enjoyed a dance with my husband.
Bathrooms are large and very clean. Washer and dryer available, or handwashing area: lots of clotheslines with pegs. Back grassy garden with seating and hammocks. Bunks comfortable, wooden blanket provided. Vegetarian food very tasty.
On this day we were the only guests after weeks of full-capacity! Juan enjoyed the reprieve, we felt spoiled. We were treated to a romantic candlelit dinner!
Juan made a comment that I loved. “I have everything that a Pilgrim needs. If I don’t have it, you don’t need it.”
I highly recommend this Albergue !

This bar had an impressive menu, but when we tried to go for dinner at 8pm they said they were not ready.
They had good priced wine and seemed nice enough, but we went elsewhere to eat.

Very small town with little dinner options. We stayed down the street but our host recommended we eat here and it was amazing. The owner Juan was the nicest and most welcoming guy and the dinner was delicious. He even shared a recipe with us!
