After a longgg day I was welcomed so warmly and even though diner was already over he provided some food.
They also make Great orange juice. And just 4 people max in a room, was great!

However I am already in León right now, I take the time now to write some very positive feedback about this albergue and the hosts. I stayed here on the 9th of April 2025 and I often think back about the wonderful hosts, Jose Ramon & San. I will go back there one day, for sure!
The homemade food is just excellent!!! Best regards, Sam Roose (BE/ESP)

What a pair of wonderful hosts! Jose and Sangria are truly special people.

The quality of the rooms, food and personal attention from them are rare on the Camino.

Do stay if you get the chance.

You really need to get there

...to other inn keepers!

I never thought I'd be happy to get tendinitis on this trip. But this minor setback led me here!

Jose and Sam are wonderful hosts. And their Albergue is fantastic. Rooms are very clean. Two levels with two rooms each floor, and two bunk beds per room. Four people per room and bathrooms shared between 8. Lots of hot water and showers had lots of water pressure.

Food was (seriously) restaurant quality. Jose is a wonderful chef. And I don't throw the word chef around. I ordered pork cheeks that would Michelin star qualityPortions were huge with dishes for carnivores and vegetarians alike. Everything is fresh so if you're vegan let them know. I'm sure they can adjust recipes to meet your dietary needs.

I never thought getting tendinitis would be a gift but if I didn't have issues I would have ended my trip in Estella.

Take the chance. Go "off script" and experience staying in the smaller towns and albergues. And when in Lorca, stay here. You won't be disappointed!

And so sad I can't post pics of the food and hosts!

Everyone should stop here! Clean & quiet place with wonderful hosts & delicious food. There are real sheets on the bed! Four beds to a room for your peace and quiet. Can’t say enough good things about it. Quaint town. Please support this albergue!!!

Lee and Jose are terrific. We booked via WhatsApp and communication was easy. Lee did our wash and hung up our clothes-no charge!!! Fabulous meal!! Rooms were clean. Good experience.

Highly recommend!

We had a big bowl of hot lentil soup here. So tasty, nutritious and energy rich! Added a salad to conclude our lunch here. Classical music at the background.

The best place I have stayed in so far!
The hosts were so friendly and welcoming. I was told to go shower and rest before checking in, and I got my laundry done for free. The dinner was amazing! A big salad, homemade slowcooked spagetti bolognese and fresh pineapple, and of course wine. I was in a four person room but me and my friend were the only ones in the room, so it was like a private one.
Highly recommended!!

This is wonderful place and the hosts are helpful and caring. I watch them help a young German girl, who wasn’t staying in Lorca, find accommodation in the next town, making sure she was going to be looked after. The food is excellent and the rooms are clean and comfortable. If you do stay make sure you sign up to the communal dinner. Two courses plus local wine, and of course great conversation. After the steep climbs this was just what was needed.
