This was a lovely clean albergue with cotton sheets and pillowcase plus the softest blanket. Clean bathrooms with shampoo etc .
Host was very friendly and helpful and we had a lovely hot meal which was perfect as it was so cold outside .
I had the best sleep so far .

The host is very kind and welcoming. The beds are comfortable with real sheets. The bathroom is clean and she has a big supply of shampoos and things we can use. Male and female bathroom is separate. I enjoyed my stay.

Have walked from St Jean and this is absolutely the worst accomodation on the Camino. The faculties are unacceptable and the host was extremely rude to someone trying to check in, so much so that someone left after seeing it happen and stayed down the road. Avoid as best you can.

The hospitalera Susana is a ray of sunshine! Friendly and helpful and very welcoming. Couldn’t ask for better.

Wonderful welcoming from Susanna she was so pleasant. Beautiful place, nice and clean, comfortable beds. Shared bunk room but separate shower/toilet for men and women. She even had shampoo for us! She was so helpful hanging up my laundry when I didn’t get back in time, so kind! Right on the exit of town heading up to the iron Cross, we left early to catch the sunrise. so glad we stayed here!

A stupendously great little albergue. The beds were spaced out nicely, real sheets on the bed, the bathrooms were clean with plenty of toilet paper. The host seemed to take genuine interest in the pilgrims. I was suffering a bad cough and she made me some ginger tea. I opted to get my clothes washed and dried and she brought me my dry clothes folded!! I gladly received her hug as we left the next morning.

This is a nice albergue in Foncebadón that has been run by a woman and her family for 10 years, not associated with the pizzeria across the road. They ask if you are going to be later than 1pm, please let them know - but no need to rush, we told them when we were in Rabanal that we would arrive at 2.30 and this was fine. They have two basic rules - don't eat or hang clothes in the bedroom, but can do this downstairs in the common area. 8 bunk beds and 2 single beds in a separate alcove (not private room), fresh sheets if slightly rickety beds, 1 shower and 1 toilet each for men and women which were very clean. Great home cooked meal for 14 euro, they also do a cooked breakfast (but need to order early before checkout at 8). 8am is a hard checkout and they will start checking people are up and getting ready at 7.45.

This place is a gem; run by three lovely women. Their food is fantastic home cooking and they gave us tapas with our beers in the afternoon. It’s very clean, nice hot water showers and a small size. Nice heaters. Recommended.

I stayed here for one night in January it was fantastic. Great shower and lovely host. Definitely get the pilgrim dinner. There was a number of South Korean pilgrims staying as well and she had some kimchi and Korean noodles on hand.
