Walked in at 956 am senior lady with a reservation. The man does not speak English and says not open til 10 am to check in. Asked for a coffee with milk which was very good as well as needed. The bunks are 15euro now, appeared clean unless you get a bunk near the corner by the wall and as you're putting your disposable sheet on happen to notice the mold on the all, dust etc. A banana will cost you 1euro each (pilgrim price)? I haven't found an alburgue since Sarria that appreciates the pilgrims except Casa de Carmen just outside Vilei 7 minutes past Casa de Barbedelo

Say they don’t accept reservations, but we arrived 10 mins before opening time and apparently they were booked out. Stayed for a drink, cost 2.50€ for an Aquarius, and she was upset at me for wanting ice.

Clean, modern albergue. About 6 bunks to a spacious room, some smaller rooms available, disposable sheets. One toilet each for men and women can be a bit crowded, no paper towels or mop. Nice common area with microwave, didn't get to try the egg chair. Options to hang washing inside or outside. Friendly staff, know some English. Menu was ok, Galician soup underwhelming, but chorizo and tapas were good.

The albergue was comfortable, though it didn’t have any cooking facilities at all, which was a shame. The common area has lovely floor to ceiling windows so you can enjoy the view. And the egg chairs of course. We found we spent time down at the bar/restaurant, which is open right through the afternoon until 8.30pm (but not open for breakfast). There are no bars on the onward way which are open for breakfast either.

Our stay here was fine. No issues with check in, just wait your turn, whether that’s with people buying drinks or checking in. Rooms, beds and bathroom clean. Food at the bar was good. Found host to be friendly when you were courteous and respected that they are a small family run business with few hands on deck.

Check in at the bar across the road, very difficult when it’s five deep at the counter, everyone trying to get a drink. No one at the accommodation over the road and up the hill. A big alburgue with very little care for guests.

This place looked a lot cooler online. The beds were comfortable, but the common area was not cozy at all- except for the egg chairs. There is nothing else in there that feels inviting. The dinner at the bar next door is pretty average. No grocery store in town, so if you need snacks definitely grab them before.

€14 for 2024. Excellent newly built Albergue with really well designed dorms, a great view looking down on the Camino path and an excellent common room with egg chairs. Albergue owners have a bar on corner that serves food all day until 8.30pm.

Albergue Casa Cruceiro wouldn’t take a reservation for tomorrow night. They said they are closed for the season.

Clean, bright, plugs and lights at every bunk. Bunk are low though so watch your head. Best part is the super big comfy lounge area at the front of the Albergue
