This is a new and very modern albergue that seems unlike others on the Camino. There is a sign advertising this albergue on the way into town which has been defaced with negative comments. It seems this albergue may be run and staffed with people other than locals, and perhaps there is resentment there. Nevertheless, it's a nice place to stay.

What a beautiful setting this place is, the views from our balcony are stunning. The pool with lounge chairs, plenty of shade if wanted was heavenly and so refreshing. The atmosphere feels luxurious and relaxing. It has spa treatments that I didn’t get a chance to try but what a treat. The rooms have views and a balcony to sit and look at the views. It feels like a resort instead of an albergue.

As of June 4 the pool won’t be ready for another week

This is very comfortable clean and modern. Good for the price. The staff are not friendly and can be a bit rude. The meal was good.

I arrived here tired after a 30km walk. Walked up to bar and asked hiw do I check in. Bar was very busy so I waited 15 minutes and asked again about checking in. He said the check in person was not in and he was not sure when he would be back.
I waited 10 more minutes, then took my backpack and went down the road to check in at the donativa.
My impression is that he bar is more important than assisting pilgrims with their booking

We had a double bedroom with private bath, called Deluxe… what a joke! It was situated outside the main building, dirty, small and outdated. None of the “spa” facilities were open.

After walking 35kms from Murias, this place was wonderful. New, clean, fantastic views, really good service, clean, spacious bathrooms and comfortable beds, this place makes a great impression. More like a resort.

I stayed here last night. The staff were great, although they could have had more bar / waiters. From my experience it does need a lot more to make it enjoyable as a pilgrim I felt like the pilgrim part was an afterthought. The place was clean & beds comfortable but & it’s a couple of big ones: why is the ladies shower & toilet in a different area to the rooms, they managed to put the men’s on the same floor, why was the water in the showers boiling hot as soon as you turned it on which is dangerous. The water in the hand basins was boiling hot after about 15 seconds, you couldn’t adjust this & you had to ask someone to get your water bottle filled. As pilgrims we just want to be able too fill it without worrying anybody, the staff were busy enough as it was and working very hard. After a long day walking we shouldn’t have to worry about these things.

Still bedbug issue. Left note at reception. Several rooms are taped off but they need to do full fumigation! Off to laundromat.

Just saw posts. There are 2 rooms fully taped off that we see. Have checked my mattress, so far don’t see anything. Fingers crossed. Wish more places used totes and keep bags out of rooms. Too many stick their bags on the bed.
