This was such an intriguing building! Going up the stairs was a challenge for this senior but arriving in the dorm was marvellous! Open rafters help create a lovely atmosphere! The communal meal was very yummy and, again, conversing with fellow pilgrims from so many different parts of the world was a highlight! I needed to spend an extra day to heal a bit and Javier arranged a different hostel for me because this one was booked for the second night. In the morning, as I waited for the next Albergue to open, Javier let me stay at Rosalie because it was so cold outside. Camino kindness!

Stayed here based on positive comments.
I found the place to be no better than okay.
Don't expect great food.
The usual mediocre chicken and salad.
Wouldn't stay again...there are far better in the village.

Great beds, super clean, real sheets and blankets, watermelon on arrival, a great kitchen, and friendly staff. All single beds. This place shouldn’t be missed!

Lovely hospitaleros, delicious dinner, no bunk beds. What more can you ask for?

Albergue is in an old house. Comfortable single beds. Cosy and welcoming atmosphere. Dinner was really nice. Highly recommend.

A quirky older building everything is spotlessly clean. The owner very welcoming on arrival and the evening meal he cooked was so delicious. We were grateful to stay 2 days due to my friend having a sore foot. Thankyou.

Front desk person was very welcoming helpful throughout entire stay. The beds were bet comfortable. No bunk beds. Old building so don’t expect perfection but very clean bathroom and kitchen.

2nd time here. Quirky, old, renovated. Nothing is to code but that adds to the charm. Bathrooms are small and kooky but hey, it is what it is. Beds (not bunks!) are comfy with real sheets. Evening communal meal was filling and delicious. Lights all off at 9pm, on at 6:30am.
Not fancy, but worth a stay.

We were offered cold water when we came in. There is sheets on the madresses + pillow covers, soap in the bathrooms + papertowels to dry your hands, a tiny corner outside with sun where you can hang your clothes to dry, free coffee in the kitchen when we arrived

The lady was lovely, she gave me all the information I needed, the beds were clean and nice. (I do carry my own cotton single sheet with me)No bunks which I loved. 2 x rooms 6 beds in each.
I haven’t used the bathrooms yet though. No complaints from my 4 other roommates
