Gute Betten, Duschen und Essen zu erschwinglichen Preisen. Wäsche ist auch billig im Vergleich zu anderen Herbergen.
Gute Speiseoptionen. Aber ich bekam eine Lebensmittelvergiftung vom Salat

Was für ein Unsinn diese schlechten Bewertungen.
Seit 2017 wurde es komplett zu einer wunderschönen Auberge umgebaut, wo man sehr herzlich empfangen wird. Es gibt eine gemütliche Bar (leckeres Bier), die Schlafplätze sind auf dem neuesten Stand und man bekommt Laken und Kissenbezug.
Sie können aus verschiedenen Mittag- und Abendessen wählen, es besteht auch die Möglichkeit eines Frühstücks.
Alles ist ordentlich sauber.
Es ist definitiv sehr zu empfehlen.

Comfy beds in a cool space - lots of exposed wood and brick! Nice facilities and quite good food served on site.

If it’s a hot day, just be warned that the beds are on the top floor of the house. We had a heat wave the day I stayed and it was tough falling asleep, though it did cool down by morning. But of course not the albergues fault, but want to give fair warning!

Stayed here last night. No bed bugs, no bite marks on my body.
Clean house and friendly hosts.

Sorry to have to post this but feel more loyalty to pilgrims than to the albergue. Last night (29 July 2024) was horrible due to bites from bed bugs and mosquitoes. Plus the upstairs of the Albergue was extremely hot. The hostelería was informed and i showed her the squashed bodies of the bed bugs. Hopefully they will take corrective action on this.
The rest of the hostel is ok - food is fine and clean linen sheets and pillow cases supplied. Showers were hot.
I will not revisit this hostel. We have been on the del Norte way for 7 weeks and this is our first such incident.

The website linked here takes you to the website of an albergue in Ferreira, earlier up the route.

That said, this albergue is peaceful and pleasant, nice bar on site with sangria. A good choice!

After staying in busy town this quiet setting was a welcome stay with pilgrim menu to keep it simple. Nicely arranged bunk area with real sheets, own outlet and shelf. .

Ice cold showers, basic amenities. Booked two beds assuming we would be together but only upper bunks left when we arrived. Others had claimed all the lower bunks, even when travelling together. Very difficult going up and down the ladder as a 50 year old after walking for 25 days.

Beautiful building but otherwise not memorable.
