Sehr schönes Hotel in Burguete, wo Hemingway zum Forellenfischen ging, wie in The Sun Also Rises beschrieben. Wunderschöner Garten draußen, um vor dem Abendessen ein Getränk zu genießen. Nur ein Block oder so vom Hauptcamino entfernt.

Stretched a little bit more than expected on the first day to reach this charming, quiet town instead of Roncesvalles. A great choice. Now I know why Hemingway liked it so much. A 2024 visit.

Stayed here May 2018. Very friendly hosts. Nice rooms and good menu. All in all a great place to stay if you were wanting to treat yourself to a private room.
